Terms of use

1. The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Capsil ("Capsil", "we") for the use of https://capsil.space. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use Capsil for a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the editor. Keep your sign-in private; what happens under your account is your responsibility. One person, one account; we may close duplicate accounts made to collect free minutes.

3. Your content

Your videos, audio, captions and exports stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to process them: to store them, send the audio to our speech providers, draw captions on them and give the result back to you. We do not claim any other right and we do not use your content to train models or for promotion without asking.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. Do not use Capsil for content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, that is sexual content involving minors, or that harasses or threatens people. We may remove such content and close the account.

4. Plans, minutes and payments

• The Free plan includes 5 minutes a month, videos up to 2 minutes and 720p export, without a watermark.
• Paid plans (Rise ₹249, Viral ₹599, Empire ₹1,199 a month, or the yearly prices shown on the pricing page) renew automatically until cancelled. Prices include GST where it applies and are shown in Indian rupees.
• A minute is one minute of uploaded video, rounded up to the next 15 seconds, charged when captions are generated. Plan minutes reset on the renewal date and do not carry over. Minutes from the Week Pass, top-ups (30 minutes for ₹129, 120 minutes for ₹399) and promo codes do not expire while the account is active.
• If a transcription fails, its minutes are returned. Exports and edits are free.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. A failed renewal is retried; if it still fails after three days the account returns to Free and nothing you made is deleted.
• You can cancel any time from Plans; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the refund policy.

5. Fair use

Do not try to get around plan limits, scrape the service, reverse engineer it, overload it, or resell access. Uploads are checked against the limits of your plan. Files are kept for your plan's keep period and then deleted; download what you need.

6. Changes to the service

Styles, features and prices may change. If we raise the price of a plan you are on, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you. We may suspend the service briefly for maintenance.

7. Warranty and liability

Speech recognition is not perfect; always check captions before publishing. The service is provided as is. To the extent Indian law allows, our liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or for content you publish.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where that is reasonable. Sections 3, 7 and 9 survive.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Before that, write to capsilofficial@gmail.com; most problems are solved by a reply.
